Lecture and Screening of Dragonfly Eyes at University of Michigan
As part of the Penny Stamps Speaker Series, Xu Bing is giving a lecture titled "The Origins of Creativity” at the Stamps School of Art and Design, University of Michigan on October 7, 2018 at 4:00 PM. The series was established under the support of Penny Stamps who was an alumna at the university and welcomes innovators from a great variety of fields to conduct a public speech. Guest speakers are invited to engage with students and faculty, the larger university, and Ann Arbor community. For the presentation, Xu Bing will also talk about his new work, Dragonfly Eyes (2017), which will be screened at the Michigan Theater at 6:15 PM.
Xu Bing will participate a pre-screening reception at the Michigan Theater Main Lobby at 5:30 PM. There will also be a Q&A session with Xu Bing following the film at 7:45 PM. All these events are free, but registration is required. Please RSVP for these events.
